Meet the Kids on the Block

On Thursday, October 2, the Family Nurturing Center's Kids on the Block program will be visiting Cornerstone. This valuable program has come each year to present information to the children on recognizing and preventing child abuse through a puppet show. While the subject matter may be sensitive, the individuals presenting it are professionals and treat the information carefully and in an age-appropriate manner. Your child's classroom teachers will help ensure that information is not misunderstood or misconstrued following the presentation; you are encouraged to do the same and seize an opportunity to talk to your child about the subject after the presentation!

ATTENTION PARENTS who use AfterCare:

AfterCare will be closing at 5:00 on Wednesday, October 1, so that Blanche and Rosalee are able to attend a workshop for continuing education in the child care field. Please be courteous and be on time to pick up your children, or make other arrangements for them for this evening, as such workshops are notorious for refusing to admit latecomers!
